Art 2007-2011

The work seems to be focusing on the "head' to express various states of mind and emotional growth. I have been expanding my techniques as far as the treatments of the backgrounds are concerned, referencing the evocative and sensitive approach to layering colours adjacent to each other in dot or pointillist form to create a resonating surface that gives the 'character' a richer and more detailed world to inhabit and express their state of being. The colours are rich in themselves, many yellows and deep blues. I am also pleased to have the Without Pier Gallery in Cheltenham, Melbourne currently displaying some of the works and I encourage you to contact them if you are interested in visiting a lovely exhibiting space.
